What is the ssh path to change the slide to unlock to something different and what files need to be replaced? I have an iPhone 4 with 4.0.1.

Change slide to unlock without winterboard

to change the text on the slider in Ifile:
1)System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app/English.Iproj/SpringBoard.strings
2) click Edit then change the "Away_Lock_Label"
3) click done
4) respring and you'll see it changed. You have to respring though.
I have an IP4 and this worked no problem.

actually i had this same exact question last night. I did a search though and found a thread from 08. Luckily the path didnt change so it was easy. After i saw this thread i figured it was time for a refresh. Maybe this will be easier for others to find in a search. That one was kind of buried.

The text is easy. You can also change the slide to unlock to tap to unlock, by changing the .png files that need to be changed.

I would search also, but with my luck I would prob end up turning the iphone into a droid!
