When I make changes to Forum Spy preferences, they work for that session but do not survive a page reload. I have tried making changes using Safari on Mavericks and Safari on iOS 7 with the same results.

I have tried logging out, clearing cookies and caches, and disabling all my outgoing firewall rules. The problem persists.

What cookie settings are you using in your browser? You should accept first-party cookies. Also, if you're using a javascript blocker, you need to whitelist MacRumors.

I'm blocking cookies "From third parties and advertisers" on both OS X and iOS. Cookies appear to work, inasmuch as I stay logged in over restarts, browser closings, etc.

I do not run a separate javascript blocker, and while I have an outgoing firewall on OS X, iOS is unfiltered.

I can modify subscriptions and user lists, but Forum Spy preferences do not get saved.

This problem has come back (tried to add Yosemite and remove Mavericks). Choice does not survive a browser refresh.

Thanks, but given the hate, negativity, and plain old trolling, I do not think I need to add iOS 8 or Yosemite to my list. :)

It's still not working. Same issue exists, even after resetting Safari, rebooting, logging out/in. It will not save changes to Forum Spy preferences.

Can't update forum spy preferences

I'm not interested in the Apple Watch, and want it gone from my forum spy. Unforunately, unchecking it and hitting the save button results in a 401 error.

if I copy the URL from the console into the web browser and hit send, Sucuri tells me that the request was blocked because it's an SQL injection attack.

Can the Macrumors gods get on fixing it please?

We're back to the same issue. It finally started working for a while, so it remembered a forum or two that I had excluded. It was nice, being able to refresh the page or go to Forum Spy and not have to edit the preferences. With the addition of the new Apple Watch forums, we're back to Forum Spy not retaining the preference selections. Minor annoyance.
