Changing Avatar doesn't fully work

Changed my avatar yesterday. It shows up as my avatar at the top of the screen (next to the Mail and Flag icons), and sometimes other places, but when I bring up my settings, I still see my old avatar. Also, my posts sometimes show my new one, sometimes old.

No matter how many times I go into the avatar settings to try to fix it, I can't seem to fully change my avatar.

Is this a known issue? Any workaround?

we are caching the avatars, so it may take some time for the cache to kick in. I just purged all the files, so let me know if that fixed it.

Looks good!

I can live with caching, I just wanted to make sure things weren't broken.

Left to its own devices, how long would it take to refresh?

it was at 1 month. I've reduced it to 1 day.
