BMWs come with factory warranties. Even with expensive items, sometimes “stuff happens.”’ Unfortunately right now we can’t just pop on down to the Apple Store to get it replaced on a moment’s notice. That makes it frustrating. You should have higher standards for "premium" products. If I'm spending a lot of money on something and it arrives damaged, I'm going to be upset and not have the flippant "stuff happens" attitude.

So apple support disappointed me a bit. They asked me to send it back and then it will be repaired/replaced and they can’t say how long it will take. I then asked if I could get a direct exchange if a added applecare+. That would have been possible if I didn’t open a repair case, now it’s too late.
At the end I ordered a new one which will arrive early to mid may and I will send the broken one back on the last day of my return window. Useless support ...
I’d suggest ordering one from Best Buy (1 day shipment) and calling Apple back to see if they will just accept the broken one back as a return. These are unusual times since we can’t just go to an Apple Store to get it taken care of.
