Charging via USB-C but no recognition of external screen

Hi, I'm running macOS Monterey 12.6.2 on my macbook pro retina with touchbar (2016). Since a few days it no longer recognizes an external screen via any of my 4 USB C ports. Charging is still possible. I have already tried different screens, done a full reinstall, reset SMC, NVRAM and PRAM. Has anyone encountered this problem before?
