I have a feeling stuff was placed under those cloths that make them protrude in a shape that has nothing to do with whatever there might be under there though.

Any surprises?
No surprises other than Apple allowing it in the first place. I thought the ending was kind of amusing when Rose asked Jony Ive what floor his office would be on and he laughed and replied "the top floor".

I am curious if Apple had any control over what questions Rose asked. It sure seems like Cook's comments about taxes and Chinese manufacturing are getting all the attention. If you're going to commission a PR puff piece make sure it 100% is that. Jeff Bezos would.

I don't see the benefit for Apple to do that story. Like others have said, most are focusing on the negative aspects and probably see the company as even more elitist than they already did (those that don't like Apple). Also, waiting for the claims of racism since that meeting of top execs was all white people.

I tried recording this with my DVR and ended up recording the end of two football games instead. The interview got cut off at the point when they were talking about the Chinese labor issues. Was there anything much after that?

Did anyone see this in the video from the pan around the room with the designers?

These monitors were connected to a Mac Pro. Apple doesn't sell a monitor with a black bezel that is thin. New Cinema displays?

The antennagate actually was an accident. You can see that it slipped past testing. But then you have the protruding camera and those ugly ugly ugly bands in iPhone 6(s). That's not an accident. That's a decision someone consciously made. Possibly during a break from testing sounds emitted by a mouse ;) (squeaking?)

Apple clearly spend time on creating a well designed super slim phone made out of premium materials, but then they justify the protruding camera or make an excuse for the antenna issue by saying that most people hide the well designed phone in a cheap bulky plastic case they bought from eBay which gets scratched up like mad in 5 minutes and looks shabby....

So what was the point of all the design work then and making it super slim again?

You could be describing Jony. He is surely burnt out after all these design ‘tweaks’?
He has Porsche 911 syndrome. Everything he puts out now looks almost identical to the last model. Some might see that design as timeless which it absolutely is not, (I actually like it - is just boring though), others may see it as ugly.

Seems timeless to me

So let me get this right. One aspect of the iPad Pro you do not like is that it's too powerful? So, logic tells me, when the normal sized iPad gets the same chipset the current iPad Pro has now, you will be then saying how you do not like it, and then the normal iPad will be too quick. Yes?
Speed expectations change over time and so does the price per computation power ratio. At this time I can see no app that utilizes the A8X to its full capacity. And I like to think Apple agrees with me and that's why they didn't release an iPad Air 3 with A9X this year. Future iPads will be a lot faster, but that becomes a less and less meaningful improvement.

For that matter, who would leave anything really secret out where someone could possibly take a peek?

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it was actually just the TV crew's lunch on that table, and they asked Apple to throw a cloth over it to make their interview look more interesting :D

Before you know it, Apple will have thinness propaganda across the world.
A shame Ive does not make himself thinner. Fat ******* he is.

[edit] I replaced my word with *'s. It's not auto censored but I am sure the mods would not be happy if I didn't self censor the word.

I absolutely believe it.

"Charlie Rose is going to be here soon. Let's get some stuff out of the breakroom, spread it out on the table and put a huge cloth on it. It'll be funny to watch the internet speculate what's under there.".
