According to 9to5Mac, Single Sign-On is live, but the app is delayed to 2019.

DTVN's DVR is garbage. Every show that it records the sounds cuts out every 20-30 seconds. I'm lucky enough that most of my shows are available on their channels' apps. The TV app on Apple TV has been a life saver. DVTN is literally given me the sign in to access the content.

This is great news! All I wanted was Zero sign on. Charter can stick their app where it hurts.

Charter has nothing to do with the Zero Sign In part. That is an Apple issue.

Agree. Zero Sign in works fine on my iOS and MacOS Spectrum apps as well as on my Roku Spectrum app.

BTW all the trash talk by a few posters in this thread about the Spectrum app being garbage is incorrect from my perspective, at least on the Roku. The iOS version leaves a lot to be desired, but the Roku app is the best streaming app I've seen for TV. It is way better than DirecTV Now, Sling, PS Vue, Hulu, and Netflix apps. Changing channels is very fast and they load quickly and the TV guide is populated quickly. All the others are moving at an elderly snail's pace!

Another deadline missed by Apple (let’s not forget the long promised charging pad for the iPhone, Apple Watch, and Air Pods). Steve Jobs would have had people’s heads for that.

Actually, those of us who are customers of Spectrum know it's probably not Apple's fault. Spectrum service has been quickly going downhill. I'm not sure why they are going into the mobile business when they haven't fixed their mess with billing, internet service, and cable service. Get those ironed out THEN branch out into other ventures. Ever since BrightHouse was taken over it's been a steady decline. Oh, and they just love raising the rates ever six months.

I'm not sure if anyone here heard, but Spectrum just lost a lawsuit in New York about their false advertising and promising to deliver and not delivering what they said they would. They were hit with a record $174 Million dollar fine.
Charter Spectrum to pay record $174 million fine and give huge ...

Too bad I live in a state where the AG could care less about consumers.

EDIT: Oh, and single sign on isn't working for everyone. Spectrum doesn't know why it is not working at my house. Surprise, surprise, surprise...

People still subscribe to cable and then choose watch it through their ATV?

Spectrum TV and internet is provided through our HOA dues in our subdivision. The negotiated price is actually quite reasonable (better than any of the "cut the cable" options out there). We have one cable box in our main TV room. The ability to watch on other TV's in the house via an ATV without having to run coax cable to the location is quite appealing to me! So I am really hopeful this will come to pass sooner rather than later.

I just checked again and single sign on is still not working. Each app is asking me to activate my app at a link which I need to sign in with my Spectrum ID and password or do it in the app.

I also have a Roku device I use for broadcast until the Apple TV app is available. It always has an issue with connectivity and saying I'm not a subscriber. Lovely Spectrum.

You need to set your tv provider in accounts to spectrum first, if it already is remove it and re-add it.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve done this several times now. Still doesn’t work. Everytime I get a tech support person on the phone I have to go through the same thing. “Well let’s try it again.” If it didn’t work the first 3 times it’s gonna work NOW!?
