Chase seems to be overly sensitive lately with "big purchases" throwing up the fraud alert. It's annoying for sure.

Chase did just recently get hacked so they are over sensitive right now.

Not to be a bag, but that's why there were multiple posts on here over the last few days warning folks to make sure to contact your bank in anticipation of this charge. They simply would have released the charge based upon your call.

Sorry about your plight... sucks!

Yeah I didn't come to the forums here until after the preorder, but I never had this issue before with buying big purchases through Chase. But I also had a friend to called his bank to alert them that he was going to make a big purchase and yet his purchase was still blocked.

This also happen to me and I called Chase and they said everything is good on my end and that I need to call Apple. WTF?

Chase says everything is good on my end to after I confirmed my purchase, but AT&T saw the payment as declined and in turn took me out of the queue and basically put me back at the end of the line even though I reentered my payment info.

thankfully i only charged the tax of my next purchase to my chase.

Luckily I bought 2 phones in two separate purchases so my personal iPhone 6 was on the new AT&T Next plan so all I had to pay was the tax. No issue with Chase. But then I did a separate order for an contract free iPhone 6 Plus for work. That one was the one that got fraud alerted.

Part of me wonders that either the purchase got blocked because of the large purchase in which case I lucked out in doing the order separate or that Chase saw two transactions for phone purchases and got suspicious since they are probably not use to someone putting in two separate order for phones in less than an hour.
