Don't know who that guy is and I don't even know if I want his album, but I already tried Chase and you wouldn't let me (it's not a Visa and I didn't know it was Visa only so that is why I even tried). Just another reason you're my least favorite card.

LOL .... now that's more like it. David Guetta is much of an improvement over U2.
U2 is the past, Guetta is the present.
U2 is history, Guetta is a gift, tomorrow is a mystery ... Appleland. :p Or as they call it in Chattahoochee Hills, Atlanta ... AppleWorld :p

----------

Pierre David Guetta, better known by his stage name David Guetta, is a French DJ and producer of electro music.

Google Titanium or Lovers On the Sun

A lot of his songs are pretty epic.

Yep, epic DJ. Don't forget Sunshine (Avici Remix). Massive!
I think those people who are saying they don't know who he is are just being sarcastic.

Titanium was a massive hit and was recently featured in X Factor Australia. If he wasn't known a couple of years ago he certainly is now. :D
Defo a household name. Has been for years.

And no security. No one time use tokens. It's a horrible tech which can be skimmed wirelessly. They are dumping it because it's ****.

Nonsense. There's just as much one time use data as with Apple Pay. The Apple Pay tokens aren't one time use either! The one time use data, the transaction code, is the same as on a contactless card. Contactless transactions are far more secure then magnetic stripe transactions, and more private than contact EMV transactions (because contactless data doesn't include your name).

Has anyone else received a code for he missing songs? I have not received an email yet and it's been over 24 hours since originally redeeming the cd.

If I have to use a search engine to find out who this guy is, then obviously I am not going to care whether I get his album or not.
I get the song of the week from iTunes as often as I can remember, and probably half the time, I've never heard of the artist. But I get the song and listen with an open mind. Guess what? Sometimes I end up liking the music and seek out more from an artist I had previously never heard of.

If you're only interested in stuff from people you've already heard of, you're cutting yourself off from great possibilities.

This, so much this.

I have had a chase card on apple pay from day 1, but the chase app continues to tell me I need to activate a card on apple pay for the free download.

I even tried to remove the card and add it back...also tried re-installing the app...still no go

Just called and tried to figure this out with Chase..they kept me on the phone for 20 minutes and then told me I had to transfer to the business department(since i also have a business account) to figure this out...very frustrating..i gave up..the album is not worth the time I already wasted on this...

this is an offer that, if attempted, leads you nowhere. after registering 2 chase cards, there is no linkage evident with itunes or apple pay or chase. the album has two types, deluxe and regular at $11.99 and $9.99 and neither is specified. this is a swing and a miss because there is nothing thought out. called both Chase customer support or online support and neither has any clue how or if this works. very stupid. give you three days and no clear instructions and no one at chase knows if and how it will work.

so I got a notice that the download was now available and found that it had already downloaded AND that they had charged another card the $9.99. I also found the that website which originally had this offer from Chase which was at: https://www.chase.com/content/chasecom/en/mobile-banking/david-guetta
is now a 404 error - no page found.
So Chase realized the error and took down the page but I was charged and likely many others.
Poor planning and obviously without even testing it by Chase/Apple/Itunes

You must have clicked the preorder button at some point. The album just became available for sale in the iTunes store (midnight EST), that's why you got a notification.

The offer officially ended at midnight.

FWIW, the code worked fine for me and many others here on the thread (and I also got an additional code for the 4 missing songs). Personally, I had never heard of David Guetta before and the music is not my cup of tea. I would gift it to you if that were possible. ;)

Any idea how to request the email code for the remaining 4 songs? Requested album on 22nd but have not gotten any confirmation about missing songs.

Yes, did click preorder as that was the only way to order it.

ending offer was possibly the reason but normally you'd just put up an expiration notice and not 404 the webpage.

glad some people got it but have you checked your bill. it's not like the purchases bill is obvious to find. took me awhile.

thanks for the thought of gifting and not my cup of tea either after hearing him first time.

I added my chase card to passbook the day Apple Pay went live. So explain to me why I don't get the album? :(

apparently if you picked "deluxe" version of the download, they don't send the 4 songs. picking the regular version you get them all according to imore forum.

There was nothing to pick. After clicking the promotion button in the Chase app, you would get a coupon code for the deluxe version, which could then be redeemed in the iTunes Store app or in iTunes on a computer.

Right. Enter the redemption code and the download automatically starts. No chance to choose/pick anything.
