Cheapest way to fix a broken 3GS screen

Did the actual screen break (distorted image on screen, no image on screen, etc) or are you talking about the digitizer (the glass)?

my cousin had a 3gs that was more like this one and he took it to an apple store and they replaced it on the spot for him. no charge or anything, he didnt even have any kind of warranty on it. its worth a shot

you can always blank it out, jailbreak it and sell it as is on eBay. Those Russians will buy it for parts alone. You'd be surprised at what you'll get for it.
