I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread people can use to tell when and where the update drops OTA or iTunes. Apple doesn't appear to have a countdown clock anywhere I can find.

I have my iPad 2, iPhone 4 and 4S in a row, hitting update every hour or so. Last check was 0800. I fully expect it to be this afternoon on the east coast... probably around 1200 or 1300.

Cincinnati, OH, EST

As an iPhone 4 owner who isn't going to get the iPhone 5 until initial launch bugs are fixed which happens all the time (Maybe oct-november or even december), I'm pretty stoked for iOS 6 although I know i'm probably going to get the iPhone 5 anyway.

Does anyone know exactly what time will it be released? I know iOS 5 released last year at about 10-11am. I would be pleased if they decided on the same schedule this year once again.

This will help...
