:D As long as you like it. And on the bright side, no one is going to try and steal it anymore because it'll be too obvious if they got caught.

Oh and great job applying the skin. I wish I could do it that well. :p
 
Haha.. nice job with the sticker.

However, you should've limited to just the outside of the laptop and not the inside.

You know what it reminds me of? Grandma's house with too much wallpaper with diamond and flower shapes.
 
Its interesting that the skin wraps around even the black boarders of the screen. I can see some aftermarket plain matte clear/black wraps as one way to reduce screen glare
 
Yes, the phrase, "If you like it, that's all that matters" fits this thread perfectly.

Thanks for sharing your pics though. I always enjoy seeing other peoples' stuff.
 
the outside was fine for something unique, but the inside is way too much, doesn't look like the trackpad will work as well with that film there...

i would love a black skin for my mbp though, just for protection purposes even. or a carbon fiber one, oooh...
 
Wack. But as Long as you're satisfied with it then that's Ll that matters.

Does he skin provide any protection to he case?
 
I'm not a fan. I think it would look better if you removed the inside stickers.
 
can't find any stickers that show the glowing apple, where did you get it from?
as for the ones talking about resale value, what if the owner wants to actually keep is and use it? that so bad? She can always take it off and it will look just like new
 
I guess the question you 'could' be asking based on the majority of the responses is "will it come off easy?"

Not for me. I think just the lid would have been ok ie. adding a personal touch but covering everything doesnt work imho.

Maybe she's a HE?? Have you thought of that? Good work on applying the stuff but it's too Vuitton for me ;)

felt others had said it better so i edited it - and its probably enough to say its like getting a new silver macbookpro for christmas and pasting the wrapping paper it came in on as a cover.... either way ;)

i do feel sorry for he / she - hope they are secure in themselves, and "we all add to the blank canvas of life .... blah blah..." (and some F it up)

ALSO, when it gets really hot will it distort? bubble?
 
With all due respect, that looks just awful. I was mortified when I first saw the pictures.

The pink doesn't go really well with the silver, so I think it would look pretty weird if there was just a decal on the outside, and then SILVER wrist rest BLACK keys, BLACK bezel. Just too much conflicting color going on there.

And to those who say lose resale value...seriously? If anything it retains it better because her apple ain't naked. Thought that was a given. :confused: She can just remove in on resale.
