The problem here is that they don't identify the Mastered for iTunes stuff on Apple Music. They had a section at the bottom of the New page for the essentials you are describing, but this is the third week in a row that the section is no longer available.

I agree with your point about mastering. The "loudness wars" have been a problem on CDs for decades.
I have noticed that the essentials section has disappeared too now for a few weeks , and am hoping Apple Music brings it back

There's been so little said about the total lack of social features (peer to peer anyway) in Apple Music. I want to see what my friends are listening to! I want to recommend something to them in-app. Etc etc etc. Do you guys think Apple will ever build these sort of functions out??
in the messages app you can share a song from your recently played list. it's pretty cool.

So we used to be able to just click on the artist name and it would play all their songs... Is this feature gone? I can't seem to figure out how to play all the songs by one artist... Can someone share how to do this?

It is not available in this beta. Upcoming ones will address those issues.

Hopefully Apple Music will have a dark mode (like spotify UI) soon.. I remember navigating through spotify was so much easier as a new user! Funny how company which boasts itself over 'simplistic design' came up with such a cluttered music interface. I am waiting for public beta to test out the new music app but from the reviews and videos I've seen so far, I think Apple still has a long way to go.

It seems like they have removed the "i" button that was at the top right of Radio stations. I've been trying to find the solution to this I'm guessing they redesigned it because I haven't been able to enable explicit tracks.

This App is awful. I am far sighted and still hate how big everything is. Never mind the massive part of the screen dedicated to recent purchases, thanks, I didn't know that I just spent my money....
Thanks for making an App that focuses even more on what Apple wants me to see instead of how I want it to be.

Happily I was able to downgrade back to ios 9 where I will stay until they get rid of this abomination.

What "massive part of the screen dedicated to recent purchases" are you referring to?

Unless Tim Cook or Johnny Ive quits apple, we cannot say apple will change their already messed up music app back to where it actually belong.
I am used to it now but every time I get rid of now playing, I always have a strange and uncomfortable feeling of that animation. Looks just so weird.

Perhaps he refers to "recently added" section.

Perhaps he refers to "recently added" section.
That section has nothing to do with purchases and makes perfect sense to have the stuff you recently added to your library readily available. The whole point of clicking on an album or playlist to add to my library is to be able to easily access it when I have time to hear it. I don't see that as a problem at all (actually, I really like that approach).

I could live with smaller font, but I think this is a much better, more organized, interface than what they had before and I actually liked what they had before.

After trying to the new music app, I can conclude with this: this is by far the wordt music app of all times. With menus here, there and everywhere, imposible to know whats on my iphone or not and how to find an actual song (..?) its totaly confusing. (And butt ugly). After shutting off the utter useless Siri, and luckily I can now hide/delete the music app, ios 10 dont feel so bad, but cmon Apple, have you used the original ipods lately??
