So he wouldn't be able to use his claws against Worf. I think this makes a significant difference

i dont think that Chewie cares if he gets exiled. He's never expressed any interest in going back. for all we know he might already be exiled.

Only if it was the Legos Star Wars version of Chewbacca. (I love that game; play it with my kids all the time.) In the Movie, the limits of Chewie's unarm abilities was standing around and howling. Well, he did rip C3PO apart. 3PO, wow, tough opponent.

Worf, OTOH, has consistantly bested opponents stronger, faster and tougher than him.

Yeah, the Chewie most of us know may have an awesome personality, but he just sorta stands around for most of the trilogy.
