Lulz about genocide.

---

Maybe China has a lot fewer Pokestops, so they get fewer free pokeballs and need to buy more than you would if you were in the US? Or is Pokemon Go not in China?

Pokemon go isn't even in China. The insinuation that it's in any way responsible for China's high gaming revenue is a load of balls.

Lulz. You've never been, have you?

Well, China is going to eliminate poverty by 2020. So, there's that.

Also, a lot of it is just the revenue from In-App Purchases. Tons of domestic Entertainment companies have iOS Apps that allow for purchasing of subscription services. And yes, the iTunes Store is still blocked. I'm confident that the iTunes Store will eventually reopen, sometime, eventually.... Hopefully.

All right. There is something drastic happened in china intranet world.

Let's see how long this "growth" will last.

And Android is super popular in China. Apple will need to up it's hardware game if it wants to take some real market share.

It's funny though, everyone says Tim has done such a good job but all he did was be the CEO when they went into China. It's a huge market, and he hasn't even done a good job capturing the chinese market.

Isn't iTunes still banned? And Cook going all in on China is very risky as China could easily ban the app store too.
Yeah all iTunes services except for Apple music are still being banned. This is really hopeless... I am planning to get my doctor degree in Canada and stay there...... Staying in China is too risky...

Very risky to not be allowed to buy a movie you can download for free from a number of places anyway without anyone batting an eyelid. Oh yes.

Heard there are a few more people in China compared to the US....

Yes... there are more people in China than in the US. It's been like that for decades.

But iOS App Store revenue in China skyrocketed in just one year.

THAT'S the news here... in case you missed it. :D
