Hi all,

Try to disable the PMingLiu fonts:
Open Terminal, type: sudo mv /Library/Fonts/Microsoft/PMingLiU.ttf /Library/Fonts\ Disabled/

It fixed! god damn evil micro$oft...

Thanks

I will give it a try when I get home. I end up using Time Machine to recover SimSun.ttf and PMingLiU.ttf from my $HOME/Library/Fonts folder. That make it work, but you method is better.

For those following the thread, you might want to move SimSun.tff into the /Library/Fonts\ Disabled/ as well.

Yes this does work for websites using traditional chinese fonts. However this doesn't fix websites using simplified chinese fonts (eg. http://www.zaobao.com).

Anyone knows how to do that?
