Sorry but can you tell the un-initiated what you're on about?

I don't want to say too much, but in my line of work I have had the opportunity to look at literally tens of sim card trays, and I can tell you without a doubt that this is a picture of a sim card tray.

NOW do you see what he was talking about?

Whoa. I have NEVER seen a SIM tray like this before! If you know anything about SIM trays you'll immediately see what Im talking about. Wow. Talk about a game changer. Look for AAPL to top 300 today. ;)

Are they implementing ETSI TS 102 613 ?

Is it even possible to tell from the picture if it supports SWP SIM Cards? It would certainly be a game changer if released by mid next year.

Massive news if it were the case.

Odd

One thing I find a bit odd is the angle of the front 'face' of the clip... it is conic in appearance instead of parallel... So when seated in the device there would be a gap on the surface around the edge which can easily collect dust and gunk... so with that in mind I am a bit hesitant to agree that this is really the sim clip for either or any device...

Unbelievable. I'm reading a discussion over a SIM tray. A tiny 0.005 pence bit of plastic.

Next I'll be taking out a subscription to Zip Ties Weekly.

Excuse me, I need to rearrange my collection of cardboard toilet roll inner tubes.

Hm, interesting. I'm game for a hardware redesign. Need to upgrade from my 1st gen ;)

... what it claims to be a SIM card tray from the fourth-generation iPhone, although the site suggests that the device may actually be Apple's much-rumored "iTablet".

Actually, from the language used to describe the 3G/3GS, this implies the iPhone 4 and an iTablet (not or). The "4 Generation" makes it look a little bogus. Wouldn't it just be "iPhone 4"?

Well iPhone 4G could imply that it supports the new LTE networks that Verizon will be implementing soon.

Wow you collect those too? How many do you have?
