You get free "out of range" alerts with Chipolo's other trackers. I hope this new ONE Spot comes with that feature.
Chipolo are very specific in their online FAQs that the One Spot will only work with Apple's Find My app, and not their own Chipolo app [1]. Unfortunately that means all the niceties of their current app (range alerts, etc) won't be supported.

As for not having UWB, that isn't a deal breaker for me, as I'd just get it to play a sound if lost in close proximity.

I was looking at picking up a few of these, but don't think I will now given that 1/ there are no reviews out for the One Spot, and 2/ they are only shipping in August. Not sure why they'd whip up a big marketing campaign and then not be able to deliver the goods.

Some say it’s ugly, I say it’s low-profile. Since this works with Find My, the Chipolo seems perfect for keys.

I like the look of AirTags but they are a little too recognizable for my liking. Also, too pristine. Ever see the back of an old iPod after one day in jeans?
(Im still getting a 4pk though.

so undercut airbags in price by $1 and $2.25 per in a pack of 4 but without ultrawideband? Tile and Samsung think ultrawideband is a $10 feature, so --- not much of a deal. s/b $19 for one
half a price of AirTags and I'm in. Otherwise I'd go with Apple. (Just got $7 discount on a pack of 4 of AirTags a few months ago)
