FYI...does not work on 4.1

Just downloaded VA and my phone has been re-springing randomly for the last 30 minutes. It happens during phone calls...the line will cut out for five seconds and then return, uninterrupted. ****ing strange.

I also keep getting No SIM messages which force me to reboot the phone.

Major issues with this tweak, I don't recommend downloading it until it's fixed.

running 4.1 no problems here..

It seems like VC issue is fixed by new activator update!

I think I found on issue. May not be caused by VoiceActivator....

See my this thread to understand the issue...

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1086479/

Only difference is Voice Control takes over the audio control here.

Steps:

(You need to add these commands).

1. Say Pandora to play Pandora.
2. While Pandora is playing again activate VC and say any other command e.g. Sleep/Lock etc.
3. VC starts takes over the audio control and after executing the command does not give it back to Pandora and Pandora stops playing.
4. If you look at the iPod/Music controls in the switcher, you will see that the controls are greyed out!!!
5. Now again launch the VC and say "Play", you will hear the feedback "Music is already playing" even though the music is not playing....weird!!!

Anyone of you has this issue?

Now sure this iOS 4.2.1 bug or Reds0w beta6 bug but this is annoying!!

For those that bought this and are using it, a few cool tricks which i am using (but maybe its obvious soooo)

To open an SMS to a specific person
1) Use URL - sms:tel_number (ie sms:8005551212)

To open an email to a specific person
1) Use URL - mailto:emailaddress (ie mailto:jobs@apple.com)
2) Multiple recipients use URL - mailto:emailaddress1,emailaddress2 (ie mailto:jobs@apple.com,schiller@apple.com) Or (mailto:jobs@apple.com?cc=schiller@apple.com)
3) Add a precanned subject use URL - mailto:emailaddress?&subject=subject_matter (ie mailto:jobs@apple.com?&subject=Hello)
4) Add precanned body text use URL - mailto:emailaddress?&subject=subject_matter&body=body_text (ie mailto:jobs@apple.com?&subject=Hello&body=Where%20have%20you%20been?

To open Navigon to a specific address to go Navigate:
1) Use URL - navigon://YourAppName[this is a placeholder,dont have to change it]%7CPOI%7CCountry-FederalState%7CPostal/Zip%7CCity%7CStreet%7CHouseNumber%7CLongitude%7CLatitude (ie navigon://YourAppName%7CApple%7CUSA-CA%7C95014%7CCupertino%7CInfinite Loop%7C1%7C-122.031906%7C37.330908

To open TomTom to a specific location (although you can just use coordinates)
1) Use URL - tomtomhome:geo:action=show&lat=40.785229&long=-73.980530&name=424%2520West%2520End%2520Ave,%2520New%2520York%2520NY

To Open Facebook to specific pages:
fb://profile – Open Facebook app to the user’s profile
fb://friends – Open Facebook app to the friends list
fb://notifications – Open Facebook app to the notifications list
fb://feed – Open Facebook app to the News Feed
fb://events – Open Facebook app to the Events page
fb://requests – Open Facebook app to the Requests list
fb://notes- Open Facebook app to the Notes page
fb://albums – - Open Facebook app to Photo Albums list

Most other apps support opening by URL (but to just open an app you can do that via activator) and depending on app support adding "extensions" into the URL to do certain things (ie like opening a Navigation App to go to a specific address). Not sure where to find the info for each app so maybe you have to experiment.

I think if Activator will support macros (which i think he said would be a good idea so maybe its coming) will make this app that much more valuable.

Love to hear any other tips or tricks...
