I'm also amazed that the BBC so constantly defend Moyles' idiocy. From Wikipedia, once again:

Moyles was accused of homophobia in May 2006, when he rejected a ringtone by saying "I don't want that one, it's gay." live on air. This led to a number of complaints to the BBC. I love Chris Moyles, the Worlds best radio broadcaster. His show has me in stitches all the way in Sydney. I just love his irreverant attitude, he doesn't pander to celebrities and they are in fact a target usually.

Giving Moyles a iphone could easily backfire one thing is he will be honest- so if he thinks its crap he'll say so...He gets given lots of free stuff..

If you listen to some of the stuff he says on his show it's clear there's more going on in his head than the act you're being sold. If you listen to the interviews he gives on other shows, where he's more himself it seems he's got a decent brain, it's just that wouldn't sell as well as the lardy oaf character.
