100$ so far. Kinda wish I would've gotten it later on tonight when everybody's at my cousins house so then I can actually get everything together.

My step daughter and her husband flew in from Toronto yesterday and they are coming for brunch. My next door neighbors went away for a week so I have their dog Elmer feeling sorry for himself. At least my dogs have welcomed him in, and so have the cats. We will have guests for dinner and for the first time in several years, I am NOT cooking the turkey. My wife wanted to try some new recipes on it this year so it's up to her. Looking forward to it.

As for gifts, Susan (wife) and I decided not to bother this year. There's nothing I want or need, and she feels the same. We may go shopping on Boxing Day or later in the week and indulge ourselves, but I doubt it. I feel very blessed.

All the best to everyone out there in the New Year.

Steve

I don't really ask for many things on X-Mas. Everyone knows not to buy me electronics because i'm a nut about what I purchase, researching everything to the ends of the earth.

That being said, wife got me some leather slippers, Marinade sauce for grilling and some cool broiler pans to cook with.

My Mother-in-law always gets me some Manchester United Gear. She got me a warm up jacket that is awesome !! Its all Red outside, blue inner lining and has Manchester United on the back in blue.

Before X-Mas I picked up the Bose Companion II series speaker system and a 20" ACD for my MBP.

Today we have a huge family dinner. I live in the USA but i'm a huge futbol fan, so boxing day is celebrated in my house with a Manchester United match on the TV :)

Stuff I got:

* Batman Begins Boxed Set
* The Dark Knight 2-Disc
* Age of Mythology (for XP under Bootcamp)
* The Man Who Invented Christmas (book)

Lunch at a local Chinese restaurant with my mom (my dad died in August). Sent my brother an email (he's in Vegas). Emailed a few people with some interesting e-cards (home made in Photoshop).

I got:

* $150, which is going to buy myself a Jonas desk from IKEA.

* The Office, Season 1

* A really nice pullover

* A thermal (it gets cold here)

* $25 iTunes Gift Card

Overall, it was a pretty good Christmas!!

i got this Jonas desk for Chrstmas, took about an hour to put together mainly because the drawer was complicated, but i love it!!!

look into it, it's $10 cheaper too.

I spent christmas morning at home with the family, my grandparents came up we exchanged gifts.

About 12pm we all went to my aunties for a family lunch which comprised of sea food, salads hams, plenty of beer and wine.

A good day, better then last year :)

As I come from a family of Jews (though I myself am nonpractising), our "Christmas" tradition is Chinese for dinner. However, as we're out of the country this year (we're in Mexico), we decided to spend the day exploring the state of Baja California.

I didn't receive anything for Christmas/Chanukkah, but I did receive a MacBook as an early gift a few days ago, and I am loving it. :)

My Christmas began at 6:30am Seoul time, and finished around midnight Eastern standard time. So that would make my Christmas... 38 hours long?

I spent the beginning of my Christmas with the lovely staff of Northwest Airlines, flying from Seoul to Tokyo, then Tokyo to Detroit, then Detroit to Toronto. It was originally planned that I had a 5 hour wait in Detroit, but a Christmas miracle happened, and I was able to get on a much earlier flight, and made it in time to have Christmas dinner with my family.

Mind you, I was quite stoned on xanax (from my doctor), and really groggy, but I made it home for Christmas night.

What did I get? $250 from some family members. But the best gift of all is spending time with those I love after being so far away from them.

Oh yeah, my friends don't know that I'm here. So today I get to go around and knock on their doors. I wish I could videotape their reaction.

Imagine your friend, who you know is in Korea, knocking on your door and bein like "Hey dude, what's goin on?" :) I have a feeling this will be the best Christmas yet.
