Chrome excruciatingly slow

Yes it is still slow. I updated to 18.0 finally but it's still slow. Even the canary seems slow. Maybe I have too much extensions or certain extension is slowing the browser down?

have you tried running chrome on anonymous mode ? i think it disables all of extensions. i have a lot of extensions on my canary and its fast. also i use firefox eventually, its also very fast, it runs much better than chrome when it comes to many tabs opened.

I've had this happen to me before. the only way to end the slowness is to delete the user profile. first export your bookmarks if you want them and then import them to a new profile.

try syincing with your google account. then reinatall the browser, sync it again. if continues to run slow, run in anonhmous mode. ig it still continues, your mac is not handling the stress. cheers
