Not for nothing, but I like this youtuber regarding privacy and steps you can take to further protect your information. To be honest, she goes a little too far for normal usage and what not but she does a good job at explaining what's happening and giving you choices

Either I shouldn't care about sync, and keep using Safari (I still think it's fantastic), or I should use Brave, Vivaldi or Firefox. I already have all 3 browsers on my phone ready to go. All I need to do now is get to a final option on my Mac by process of elimination.

What do you think about using different browsers for specific purposes?

For example, you could use Firefox as your general browser, Vivaldi for websites that only work on Chromium, and Safari for personal and sensitive tasks like banking or accessing government websites. Feel free to mix and match based on your needs!

I've decided to start using edge. I should've established this first, but when I meant I needed privacy, I meant I needed privacy that is equal to Safari, and Chrome just doesn't offer anything like that, even with configured settings. Edge is better because it offers an actual tracking protection by name and by nature. I tested it, and it blocked a tracker on MSN. And I work with Microsoft services, not Google services. I'm going to incorporate Edge and Bing across all my devices now.
I raise you... 😉 My current stats on Brave with my main computer.

Ok, so that is combined not the total tracker number but if you were interested you can view what's being blocked on the site you're on (not that I would be able to decipher what's what 🙂) via Brave Shields and clicking on the number to the right of your ad/tracker block settings.
