I would love to go back to a 4" size, but I'm not buying a new iPhone that has the same specs as my 2014 iPhone 6. A9 and 2 GB ram and I'd gladly buy one.
Then Apple's precious margins would go down - so they won't do it. In what planet should this 4" be priced at $500

Prolly this one.
Looks like it needs an adapter for that ugly stem.

Because it's a rumor...?

Normally MacRumors has a much higher standard for posting things than that. They need some form of evidence that the rumor might be true. IE, the parts might have different dimensions. Maybe the about screen in settings gives some statistics that differ from current generations.

Some random guy has a video of what by all appearances is a 6S but says it's a 6C really doesn't cut it.

Guys, I agree it's a crap rumour and the thing is almost certainly a 6 or 6S (if I could be bothered I could quite easily go do some measurements on a picture to confirm either way - dunno why MacRumours haven't done so actually), but it's still valid for them to report on it (in addition to them wanting to make money). It IS a rumour, just a crap one. If you hadn't read about it here you might have heard other people talking about it.

Good Job! I wouldn't get that size but looks fantastic! I hope they include touch ID, so the feature really takes off. Plus, those people who like the form factor shouldn't be penalized.

Edit: Looks like just an iphone6!

It doesn't make sense to make it the same look as the 6/6s. Should stand on its own.
Not really sure why you think this.

Scaling the case down and allowing the same
Colors would benefit Apple in terms of productions/ design costs as well as **** the consumer up whining that the new design is so much worse or so much better the the current 6s series.

To be frank it makes perfect sense seeing as how he 6s plus is just a larger 6s, aesthetically speaking. You'd now have three different sized phones that are aesthetically identical.

No way that's a 4.7in iPhone. I have a 6th iPod touch with me, and it looks like the same size as the pictures.

I'm bought one of this from eBay to fit my iPhone 5. It was not a successful project and ended up buying my daughter an iPhone 6S. Hehe!

This is legit an iPhone 6.

Make sure to put tape over the serial number and information so we know this is a legit leak
Seems like it's also over other areas on the front for essentially no reason at all.

Guys, I'm actually fairly certain it's real. Why?

I did a screen capture and did a ratio of measurements based on the one thing that has to be a constant; the SIM sleeve cover. Granted I may have been one or two pixels off, my math tells me that a 6s sim door is 0.115 of the phone's height. The screengrab, best estimate, is 0.134 of the total height. That would indicate the video has a phone of 86% of the height total over the 6s. The ACTUAL difference between a 6s and 5s in measured height is that the 5s is 89.5% of the height of a 6s.

So count me in on this being probably true. That said, I don't guarantee my measurements or my math.

Interesting. The reason I believe it's fake is if you count the number of speaker holes on an iPhone 6/ 6s it's 6. This one also has 6 with what looks like the exact same amount of space between the last hole and the first speaker hole.
