Clarify Return Date with Apple

My return date for my iPhone is October 10, 2014, and under that it says "Return date with carrier plan is 1 day prior to date listed."

Does this mean that today, October 9, is actually my last day to return the phone?

Did you buy your phone on contract? I bought my iPhone through the Apple Store on contract with AT&T and the return date was also one day short of two weeks.

Yup, bought it on contract / used my upgrade eligibility.

Since it could affect your upgrade eligibility with the carrier, I'd make sure to get it clarified with the carrier themselves.
