Those with Saddle Brown CB, does it stain easily? Has anyone ever had juice or other substance spill on it or touch it?

I haven't had any staining problems. You will, however, notice a patina. The leather will darken with time. Love the band. I have an extra, brand new in box if you're looking for a 42mm version... PM me if interested 🙂

How is the patina? Does it look like patina on regular leather?

I'm asking because many people describe Apple's leather as "chicken nugget" leather. Meaning it's very heavily processed so can they give it a very precise shape like it's molded.

It seems they may basically shred the original leather and reconstitute it (what's called "bonded leather"), but that involves the use of a polyurethane in the leather which may alter its appearance, particularly its patina.

Any picture of the patina would be appreciated!

Updated pics. My above band had lug connector issues and so I got a replacement. The new band is even better than above band in leather quality and fit. I also like the darker smoother texture.

Congratulations with your new strap - You have been looking at it for ages right? Looks great... Still would have loved it if Apple would have made Space Black adapters for us with the Black Stainless Steel... Well guess they saved me some money
