This is great.. it's already used in schools before the edu version but having proper support for multiple accounts and moderation is a really good idea.

Minecraft isn't showing any sign of going away.. minecon is growing, the youtubers are still massive.. Most of the kids I know still have time for it.

So...what kind message is Apple sending to these kids? Start building a new desktop?

EDIT: I never understood the game, "Minecraft." Is this something you build?
Not sure why you mention Apple. The game was made by a Swedish game company called Mojang, and later on bought out by Microsoft. The only thing Apple here is the fact Minecraft runs on Apple platforms.

Yeah, the kids are playing Roblox now.
Really? I played ROBLOX as a kid before Minecraft existed. I thought ROBLOX was dead nowadays!

A better option for coding, teaching, and storytelling in Minecraft is ScraM! ( http://scram.frequal.com )

ScraM lets kids and players of all ages drag-and-drop their own custom mods, minigames, and interactive stories. All using Minecraft you already have. No need to download a new version of Minecraft or get locked in to an Office 365 account.

ScraM lets you share your mods with players using the Java edition _and_ Pocket edition. Plus you can share your creations on the ScraM website. With Education Edition, you can't share with anyone outside your class.

Best of all, ScraM is free while in beta! Try it at http://scram.frequal.com, or watch a video here:
