Yep damp a microfibre cloth with plain water. Sometimes the round ceramic back can get gunk trapped where it joins to the back ion the watch so run a cocktail stick right around the edge and then wipe away

How do you clean your watch? and what Do you use?

It depends. With the digital crown, you could run the crown under a light faucet and simultaneously turn the digital crown to remove any debris. But you do want to make sure you thoroughly dry the watch off. Also, for general cleaning, I just use a clean microfiber towel and that’s all I’ve ever used since the first GEN Apple Watch in 2015.

I use my fingernail to circle the underside sensor to keep gunk from growing between the aluminum and the sensor on underside.

My sports loop bands I run through washer every few months (more often in summer). I run with a nike band. I usually run watch under water and rub the band with my hand while it is running under water. Every other time I'll use some bar soap on the band.

I've done this for 3 years and my watches look like new. <shrug> For the face I just wipe on my T-Shirt if it ever gets smudged.

I use Scotty’s Glass Wax it’s the same stuff I use to clean glasses and all my screens once a week. YouTube it because it’s awesome! I also use CTRL ALT CLEAN to detail it. I bought it on Amazon. I wiped the watch down daily with a microfiber cloth.
Same
I just spray my microfiber towel with a costco glasses/lens/monitor non-alcohol spray a few times and wipe down my whole watch and phone. It removes the grease and fingerprints a lot easier. Been doing this for years.

Just be aware this will remove oleophobic coatings faster than normal

water, dry with a towel and then activate water expulsion feature to clear the speaker

Been doing this for years on both the sapphire glass and ion-x and it’s been fine. I just make sure there’s 0 alcohol content. That’s what those sprays are for. hahaha
I don't think apple watch has an oleophobic coating. But I noticed you said "and phone" which does. There are mixed messages about what removes oleophobic coating (which is at best temporary anyway), but Apple says to avoid "cleaning products," i.e. just use water. I'm sure some are worse than others, and I agree with you a small amount of that type of spray to dampen a microfiber cloth is probably one of the mildest.

For my phones, I've been using iKlear for a decade. Never had an issue with the coating.
