Wow, wireless syncing? Somebody better go tell Zune HD so they can copy-- uh, you mean they did what already? How long ago? Oh, gosh. Welll... *nervous chuckle* Nevermind then.

There goes Apple again being the innovators, not the copiers. I guess I'll just check the weather on my iPod Touch's weather app. Hmm? "73 degrees and sunny"... but it's January and I'm in Canada (static icons)??!! Widgets. Besides wireless syncing, yet another thing Apple still doesn't have.

Now have a look at the Calendar application, note the date, so it can be done. Apple just didn't bother to implement it... yet.

most of my music is from my own CD's and some of it isn't on iTunes, so how would they stream music they don't offer?

The..um internet. External harddrives, and...well your computer already can do this. It will most likely be some sort of feature in iTunes to enable advanced networked sharing. The content would never need to pass through Apple's servers, it's just a feature that would need to be added.

So will iads access your own music library to determine the most pleasing music to keep your attention?

I don't like that idea.

This could be very useful if implemented properly. It better work much better than back to my Mac, which is garbage because of all the NAT issues.

Well earlier today this was cool and had some credit with me. After finding out the entire fake emails from SJ reported by BGR however, puts this report in doubt for me as well. Think they are trying to hard for the "news" perhaps. So much for community journalism.

with a new logo?

maybe it will be time for them to drop the old skool itunes logo as Apple is anti-discs and pro downloadable content. let me guess, the clouds from the mobileme logo with the music note symbol from the current logo and voila, new and improved iTunes X. wonder how apple feels about these new AT&T bandwidth caps and if when Verizon rolls into town they'll bring them back for competition? or sprint? or t-mobile?

side note: if i stick with my unlimited service on my 3G from here on out, will it still be unlimited when eventually the LTE networks (4G) are rolled out and I upgrade my iPhone?

This is easy to answer. Because they can track what you do, who you speak with and email, what sites you surf, what applications you download and use, essentially every element of your online life Google wants to track. They then sell this data about your private life to advertisers who will then try and hock their wares to you. It's all about advertising - it's about nothing else but selling your private data to anyone who will pay.

You seriously have no clue about Google's business model. Your statements are completely false. I just want to point this out because I hate it when people talk about something they have no clue about and state it affirmatively as if it is fact.

What's the counter point besides "you're wrong?" Google is a big brother, worse than Apple - although Apple is doing a pretty good job of playing catch up.

iPad 2 w/camera and video chat

"Finally, the source adds in a brief hardware claim, pointing to Apple's traditional iPod-focused media event, usually held in September, as a venue for the introduction of at least "two new devices with camera/camcorder capabilities". It is unknown what exactly the source is referring to, although Apple's iPod touch is widely expected to gain camera functionality after having the feature appear in prototypes of the current generation of the device but be axed from the final released design."

The second video device will be another version of the iPad with IOS4.x and front/rear facing cameras.

Mobile me issues?

I've been using mobileme for some of these services for contact and calendar syncing between iphone and computer.

In the past couple of months contact data has been corrupted through this process, contacts with same first or last names are often confused and phone numbers exchanged or duplicated.

One time a contact showed up with 13 duplicated phone numbers.

When I discuss this issue with apple they always ask where the most accurate set of contacts are. That's an issue with this technology, once something becomes corrupted, it's shared with all the other devices.

Apple definitely has their work cut out for them.

I'm not that interested in cloud storage, especially if it is limited to only things bought through iTunes (which is maybe 20 songs out 14,000).

I'm extremely excited about point 2, streaming from my home PC to other devices. This would make it easy to hook the iPad up to my home theater and stream our music. Also would love the wireless syncing as well. Looking forward to this!

You should look into Airfoil: http://www.rogueamoeba.com/airfoil/ and Apple's Remote app for iOS: http://itunes.apple.com/app/remote/id284417350?mt=8
I use both daily to either stream or control music playing on my stereo ove Wifi.

This makes more sense for mobile use rather than in-house streaming.

Has this happened yet?? If so the why is itunes download so extremely slow still? thanks of your insight.
