I puked in the theater while watching Blair Witch Project because I get severe motion sickness. I then purchased the DVD, and have yet to finish it. I just get too dizzy.

If Cloverfield is anything like that, I'll likely never see it.

I am glade no one tried to explain where the monster came from, like the gazillions of Godzilla movies. That gets boring real fast with me.

Maybe they should have added some unicorns and dinosaurs then,as that would make as much sense as that monster....

I just saw it yesterday, and I thought it was amazing. I loved every second of it.

However, I am a big fan of Sci-Fi/Monster movies.

"The film's final title, "Cloverfield", is the name of the exit Abrams takes to his Santa Monica office."

...It was initially the "code name" for the film but was never changed.

Well thats interesting.

You would think they would actually have the name of the movie be relevant to the film...

I guess its just part of their vague marketing technique.

Stupid movies, get stupid names! :p

It sort of shows a lack of creativity, I think!

My son saw it, came home and said nothing about it. I guess he did not find it all that interesting.

I just saw Cloverfield and I thought it was very well done and compelling. I gathered the name "cloverfield" was for the monster. In the beginning of the movie it reads:

Document #USGX-8810-B467
Digital SD Card
Multiple Sightings of Case Designate
"Cloverfield"

Like were watching a evidence tape from the Department of Defense.

Another thing that was interesting about the movie is that the tape was originally a recording of the two main character's first date that was accidentally recorded over. So the entire movie is cut with these breaks of this couple going to coney island.

The scariest part is when these mites or bugs jump off the creature and start attacking everyone and biting them. Later the victim's guts blow out of their chest. Awesome.
