‘Califa oat milk creamer’? Where can I find that? That sounds amazing. ...

When the pandemic first hit I bought shelf stable non-dairy items from Amazon and this was one of them. Amazon had labeled it as a creamer, and it is indeed creamy but not quite the weight of half and half:

You have to shake it up very well and then it pours in a nice froth. Previously I'd used almond or soy milk, but it wasn't creamy enough for coffee. This company also makes a coconut cream and almond milk product called Better Half, but I haven't tried it. I'm sticking with this oatmilk product and am going to see if it's available at my local food store today in fact.

Update: my local store carries a refrigerated bottle of Califia Oak Milk Creamer. I'll try it when I run out of the shelf stable carton kind.

Coffee for me, preferably with organic, full fat milk (or a dash of organic double cream). Especially in the morning - my first cup of the day is a non-negotiable cup of coffee.

However, in the afternoon, I will frequently treat myself to a cup of tea.

Coffee - dark roast, nothing added. About 20 years ago I stopped adding sugar and then about 5 years ago stopped adding milk.

A good friend adds lots of half n' half and sugar. He claims he likes coffee but I don't think he has any idea what coffee tastes like o_O

Excellent. Thanks for the info. Researching now with ‘The coconut cream‘, as that’s totally up my alley in terms of flavoring. I’m always looking for an alternative product, and I will research my local stores to see if they have anything like this in stock first.

Yeah that's what that premixed (sugared, creamered) instant stuff I keep in the cupboard for emergencies is like. Emergencies like thinking I had another pound of real coffee beans somewhere.

That stuff is ok in a pinch. Whatever else is in it, there's caffeine too. But in no way is it "coffee".

I'm a tea drinker (can't stand coffee). My favorite is Market Spice tea out of Seattle, WA (Pike Place Market, if you want to give your nose a treat). I started drinking it over 40 years ago when I lived South of Seattle. Fortunately you can order it online (marketspice.com) as I now live on the East coast.

Coffee (I don’t like tea) - I come from a family of coffee drinkers - no one drank tea at all. I like my coffee strong, white, with a tiny scoop of honey 🤗

Macha tea with Boba. This was amazing. Dairy free matcha tea with Boba. Great tea place in Rowland Heights

I have had some amazing tea in Turkey, Kenya and in central Asia; while both Turkey and Kenya serve incredibly good tea and coffee, most countries (and cultures) tend to be better at producing (and preparing and serving) one or the other.

In Kenya, deriving from the influence of East African Asians, I was served some exceedingly good chai, whereas in central Asia, a cherished memory is sitting and sipping, savouring and enjoying, an exceptionally good cardamon tea which a member of our local staff treated me to.

in my family when I was growing up, adding ANYTHING to coffee was looked at a sure sign of moral failing
Ah, so your coffee upbringing was better than mine. My parents were great but not with regards to coffee but their parents were from England so they had an excuse :)

There is always room for both coffee and tea for me. If I have to pick, I would choose 100% Peaberry Kona Coffee preferably flown in directly from Kona, Hawaii. Best in the world. I prefer it with a hint of milk or black. Light or medium roast depending on my mood. There is nothing like it.

Tetley tea, or Twinings flavoured teas.

Never liked coffee, I tried some last year and didn't like it.

Decided to try out another tea place today in Irvine. The peach tea here was actually not so good but the Jasmine with strawberries tea was quite good. Had the clear bobas in it also. I decided to try this place out as a friend of a friend owns this place.

Coffee.

Medium-light roast, Colombian or Sumatran preferred.

Young me - cane sugar, heavy whipping cream.

Old me - one Splenda, Vanilla Oat milk ie: sugar free, cholesterol free.

Coffee is delicious. Getting old sucks.
