man, freezing sounds good to me right now, sauna alert here. 82 with 63% humidity. at least the a/c is on now. it's supposed to rain the next few days with lows in the 60's, but that's it.

jacksonville sounds nice now with 50, just a few hours north.

-6 in southern Wisconsin right now. We did briefly make it into positive digits around lunch time - maybe to about 2 degrees. I did some quick shopping - there was nobody out because it was so cold - I don't know when I've checked out so fast at the grocery store on a Saturday!

Well, it hit -14 degrees today, which I believe put the wind chill somewhere around -30 or so, which is pretty cold. But the coldest I've seen here in the Twin Cities was -23 degrees on January 30th, 2004. I'm hoping we don't get that cold again this year.

It's 19F in Colorado right now and there is still snow around from the second fall (beginning of December) since it keeps snowing. Average now is at least once a week with many weeks seeing two snow falls. It snowed yesterday and is suppose to again on Monday. Of course I'm going to Kauai tomorrow where it's averaging 78F. I just hope I don't get sick from the sudden climate change!

Wow this Fahrenheit stuff is weird. My city gets as low as about -35C, -31F. We've probably gone down to -40C, -40F. But not this year, thank god.

God that's way too cold. It's been between 32 and 50 degrees F here and that's too cold for me.

I can't wait until summer so I can complain about temperatures above 110 F.

Right now it's 16ºF or a little higher, and snowing in New York's Finger Lakes and the northwestern edge of the Catskills. Tomorrow is supposed to be the "three-dog night" for us in this cold snap, forecast here to be 1 above but it will dive to -15º in the valleys and there'll be some hellish wind chill. A good night to sleep with outdoors-ready clothes on! Lots of people around here do that when it's going to get down into negative double-digits, and also leave a vehicle unlocked with a gym bag of extra clothes and boots out there.

Out here in north-central NC, it snowed yesterday afternoon as hard as I've ever seen it snow before. Great slushball weather. Some places around my house got an inch and a half! ZOMG!!!!

Here is our forecast now from NOAA, but the paper says it'll struggle to make 30 degrees with a low of 11!!! w00t!!!! Also, some freezing rain for Tuesday? We'll see.

Lucky! The coldest it's ever gotten here is when it snowed 29 inches back in January 2000 and it was 8 degrees in the morning.

I wish I grew up where Dad did, in Pittsfield, MA.

It's not so bad if you're not outside much. I can't imagine being one of the crazy people who are playing in the US Pond Hockey Championships in Minneapolis this weekend. They play a minimum of 4 games out on a frozen lake. Brrrr!
