College next year...Macbook Pro or PC laptop?

If i go to a college that requires i get a laptop through them i should:

  • Buy their laptop and be done with it.

  • Buy their laptop, and get a MBP on the side because it is worth it.

Most coleges have a pretty high drop out rate. only about 50% of students will graduate. What this means is used notebooks should be available. Buy an old notebook from a former student.
