I can't believe that my school, Western Washington University, is not on that list. I mean we are closer to the Canadian boarder than most of the others. I think. Correct me if I am wrong. I guess the review does not factor in the amount of travel that we students make to the boarder and back ;) :D

There should be a list of what schools have students going off campus for their wares.

haaha, look at the schools least likely to have marijuana:

1 United States Air Force Academy
2 Brigham Young University (UT)
3 United States Naval Academy
4 United States Coast Guard Academy
5 United States Military Academy

that's good cos those guys have a lot of guns...

That's BS, they are just the ones less likely to admit it.

Unless you're Mormon, or desperately wish to be so, avoid BYU like the plague. Dress standards are frighteningly modest (what's the point of wearing shorts if they MUST be below the knee?) and... well I'll refrain from injecting my views on the religion. Suffice it to say, I left for myriad reasons.

Take it from one who knows: I was born at home, in my parents' bedroom of their apartment at Wymount Terrace, the Married Student Housing complex for BYU. The Temple out one window, the Missionary Training Center out another, and out another, in the distance, a statue of Brigham Young. A freak nexus of Mormonism. :)

Wow

Nice to see Ohio schools ranking high as usual....

I know some people who wenty to Oberlin (#4 on Reefer Madness list), and I can personally confirm that it is a nest of potheads. I went there to visit a buddy and people were smoking pot from a hookah in broad daylight on campus.

It's another one of those liberal arts college that gives liberals a bad name. Inflexibly sterotypical and no sense of self-irony.

I always thought the University of Illinois had the largest Greek system. . . . .

If they had a category for creepiest college, BYU would win.

I'd much rather have my child drinking a little and fraternizing with the opposite sex than learning about how everything they've ever done or thought about was sinful.

I know exactly what you mean, but I can top BYU: Bob Jones University. The website is hilarious and worth reading if you're bored and looking for laughs. Check out the "dorm rules" and "what to bring to campus" sections.

The best part, the URL is www.bju.com...thats right: BJ University.

Vaaaarsity, Vaaaaarsity.....

LETS GO BADGERS!

BYU sucks.

I agree, BYU sucks (I'm a U of Utah student) but it's not because it's a Mormon ran school (as the above post seems to be insinuating). People go to BYU knowing that they have to follow the rules (ie. the Honor Code). It's not like people go to BYU and then realize,"Oh crap, this is a religious school? That's why there are all these things they don't want me doing." People go to BYU (and TCU and SMU and Notre Dame, etc etc) because they want a quality education to coincide with continued religious learning. They don't go there to seek out all those who aren't ultra religious and bash them. They are college students, too. Nobody cares.

And because I feel it needs to be said, if it weren't for the fact that Boise State has a good football team, none of the schools in Idaho (including BYU-Idaho) would be worth a damn. I don't remember U of Idaho contributing much to any sort of major research.

Go bobcats!

Athens rocks the party, that rocks the party. My god... I spent weekends there blitzed out of my mind, stealing street signs and puking off of front porches. Many.. many weekends.

I heard UMass/Amherst mentioned. My freshman year, I used to go along with calling it ZooMass, but now as an RA, I feel like I should take some sort of pride in saying that I do my part in making the school less riotous.

Having grown up in that area, yeah it is funny, but the laughs do not stop there.
Another university, less than 10 mins from BJU, is called Furman University. Their old mascot was the Christian Knights.
Furman University Christian Knights. (i dont think i can get away with typing it, but look at the capitol letters)

Yeah, now they are known as the paladins!

BJU is messed up. I went to a performance of Handel's Messiah there and was kicked out. The first thing the speaker said before the concert was, "Please hold your applause at the end of the concert to explore the sanctity of the moment" or something of the like. Either way, after the concert was over (and it was a great concert, a great performance and a wonderful piece of music for its time) my friends and i were so into it that we stood and gave a standing ovation, much to the strange looks we received by the audience members. We were escorted out of the concert hall shortly after.

Before I clicked on reefer madness I said to myself "if Hampshire college isn't on this list it's totally bogus." There it was at the number one spot though. I enjoyed many a good time on a certain clothing optional dorm hall there.

Oh my God! Where can I apply, I love those "G" movies. But I can't find the section on Dorm Rules, can anyone post a link please?

So basically it's cool to play with guns, but make sure all you watch are 'G' rated movies. hmmm...

PC is #2 on the beer list and #9 on the hard liquor list. No surprise there. I'm rather surprised that the Univ. of Rhode Island isn't on any of them. It has quite the party school reputation around here...
UMass Amherst is on a few too. It's where the URI party grads go to for extra study ;)

LOL.. as a kid who was born and grew up in Kingstown.. I have fond memories of U.R.High. Which incidently, is not where I went to college.
