Tech republic posted an article about IBook Author. The EULA stats that using this program you are required to sell your book only through Apple and they get a cut. Watch out!

Wow. Aren't you a bit late to the party? This has been discussed for ages. You can sell your books any way you like, but the output of iBooks Author must only be sold through Apple. And if you find a way to publish a book and get more than 70% of the final sale price, lots of authors would be glad to hear from you.

Good luck keeping 70 percent of the sales price after creating and running a website, handling bank fees, credit card fees, bandwidth cost, and so on. Actually, good luck leaving with any money in your pocket if you try selling yourself after covering all your expenses.
