i'm interested to know too. Stuffit just never seems to compress more than a few MBs for me.

If the data is already compressed (video, jpegs, etc.), Zip or Stuffit won't make much difference.

Most of what I'm trying to compress is video, but there is some music as well.

All I want to do is shrink the size, then be able to restore it to its normal size when it arrives in its new location.

The problem is both video and music (unless lossless formats) are already compressed, so there's not much further lossless data compression can go (like zip, stuffit, etc.)
