I just don't see an iPad Pro happening unless it runs OSX and acts sort of like The Surface. However, OSX is not made for this so it would be odd.

The problem with the pro is the simple fact that there would be no point. What would make it pro? Nobody is going to develop apps for the worst-selling iPad in the market so unless it is just battery boots or some extra ports there would be no point unless it runs OSX.

The only possible thing an iPad 'pro' could be is just a term for a slightly larger iPad with the same internals as all the others, but I just do not see it happening.

Overall, nice attempt at the images.

what about a widescreen 16x9 version.

I would rather the pro be a widescreen version myself, I agree a 10" tablet feels wrong at 16x9 but going to 13" it will not feel too narrow it would be slight wider than the current iPad actually.

And hopefully a notification bar in landscape could pull from the side while not disturbing your current app. or down from the top in portrait mode with all that space. It would be exclusive feature to the Pro model.

Staying 4x3 at 13" just seems odd to me, plus movies would look amazing on a 13" 16x9 retina iPad.

That's what they said about the mini. But they were proven WRONG! I would love a Pro, running iOS. My house will have 2 of them please!

Oh and guess what, developing apps for the mini and the air and the pro will be the SAME apps. Why? Because Apple can think that far ahead and offer the same aspects for developers. Who knew?

Better processors, more ram, more graphics, better battery life, bigass screen for apps. Sign me up.

I don't think they will go with asymmetric bezels - it means one thumb will be reaching more than the other in landscape mode. One of the main "ideas" of the original iPad was that orientation doesn't matter - you just use it however you pick it up.

And the other thing is that they aren't just going to make a typical keyboard cover - it will be some new form of input. There are already a ton of keyboard covers on the iPad.

The only problem with your logic is 'they' was Steve Jobs, not the market.

No "they" is plural, not singular. By "they," I meant more than one person. Perhaps you should go back and read the forums a month prior to the iPad Mini launch. Hell, one week before the launch! You will see comments like the above. "Who the hell would buy this?" "This is going to fail." Etc.

The waste of screen real estate looks kind of silly on a 9.7" iPad, it'd look ludicrous on a bigger iPad.
