A new fan-made concept video imagining Apple's rumored foldable iPhone is circulating online, weeks before the company is expected to unveil the device at its annual fall keynote.

The video was created by designer Gunhoo Lee to provide a realistic look at what a brief "iPhone Ultra" reveal could look like, showcasing its 7.8-inch inner display, Touch ID authentication, mechanical hinge, dual battery system, and A20 chip. The features and specifications it depicts track closely with months of corroborated rumors.

Apple's foldable iPhone is widely expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max next month, so the real reveal video isn't far away.

You have a phone and it does everything you need and then you buy a phone to just open and close it all day long. Makes sense ...

I'm not against polished concept videos, but the creator crossed the line twice. The video has nothing to do with John Ternus, who isn’t even Apple’s CEO yet.

Waiting to see the foldable. Too bad that there will be no FaceID. Also disappointing will be the lack of zoom lens. Don't think Apple will add a telephoto lens in the near future.

Here is a 13 Mini next to a Galaxy Z Fold 8.

Too wide for me.

of all the types of rumors, names tend to be the most accurate.
They literally don’t though?
Everyone was convinced that the MacBook Neo would just be called the MacBook, MacBook SE or another revision of the MacBook Air, absolutely no one expected it to be called the MacBook Neo. The name only leaked about 18 hours before the thing was announced, from an internal Apple document.
Same with the Apple Vision Pro, the name never leaked. People were convinced it was going to be called the Apple reality Pro or Apple reality 1, which it obviously wasn’t.

The final marketing name is usually the last thing to be solidified, the easiest thing to be changed at the last minute, and not widespread within the company.
This goes for iPhones as well, the name iPhone X was only ever known about because again, Apple accidentally leaked it themselves.

“iPhone Ultra” has only caught on because that’s what Mark Gurman has been calling it, but he’s also been calling for a MacBook Ultra, AirPods Ultra, and other products with the name ultra as well. We already know he’s wrong in at least one aspect, the AirPods ultra with video cameras literally leaked in macOS code showing that they are just a new generation of AirPods Pro.

Yuck. Reminds me of those Ran Avni videos from back in 2012-2013, with the added negative of an AI slop Alan Dye voiceover (weirdly attributed to John Ternus). No thank you. Not the kind of video you should be signal boosting.
