You can confess anything related to videogames : )

    So i will start;

    - Love spending money on Steam, is always great prices.
    - I have own 4 PSP (Fat, 2x Slim 2000 e uma Slim 3000).
    - Don't like football games!
    - I'm a big Pokémon nerd.
    - Metal Gear Solid, Pokémon and GTA was the best made games ever!

Installed over 100 modchips into Xboxes, usually SmartXX v2 or Xecuter 2 and 3
Chipping my PS2 slim, now gone since I own all legit copies.

•Cheating at Dark Souls with a modified save game.
    •Using aim bots in Counterstrike.
•Spawn killing every chance I get.
•Sniping in every game I get (should not be a "sin", but many claim it is)
•Killing everyone in GTAIV races. Its Grand Friggen Theft Auto. There ARE NO ONLINE RULES.
•SC2 drone rushing when bored for tasty cheese.
    •Enjoying Manhunt.

Oh, biggest sin? Gaming on a Mac before my custom built PC.

I bought a PSP Go, abd I like it! :D

Picked one up when they dropped the price and bundled ten free games with it. Right before they discontinued it. Comes in handy on business trips, and with all those free games on it, I've never had to buy one

Far Cry 2 is one of my favorite games this generation.

When I picked up my PS3 on launch day, I received a free copy of the Casino Royal bluray for signing up on PSN. Only Sony messed up and actually sent me two copies, both of which I sold on Ebay. :)

    I've got most of the PSP's too, each with it's own use;
    2000: emulators
3000: main system for PSN and UMDs (official firmware, 32gb)
Go: PS1 (just a GREAT device for it, had to use Custom firmware because Sony only allows 2 handhelds per account , using all my own downloads)

    • Never finished Super Mario Bros, Metroid or Zelda 1
    • Got ~600 games on Steam, I've played 25%
    • Similar awful ratio for my consoles :(
    • Despite being an indie dev I don't like lots of indie games I should like (Braid, Limbo, Fez. Zero appeal)
    • Spent £200 and weeks of time building a custom fight stick. Used it for just a few hours
    • Made up rumours for both the Wii and Pokemon that were fully believed and even brought up on major news sites.
    • Exploited the quick connect/disconnect on HL2 DM years ago to punish cheaters
    • (not strictly gaming but) reset a friends Tamagotchi!
    I'm sure there's more :)

For games, I love the Atari 400 and Magnavox Odyssey 2 keyboards... ;)

    • Adore all the Doom games
    • Adore Red Faction II
    • Adore point click adventure games
    • I dislike game pads with a passion
    • PC Master Race
    • Occasionally enjoy annoying people on Multiplayer
    • I'm a pretty rubbish gamer
    • Big Steam spender
    • Possibly may have had a bit of a crush on Lara Croft when I was playing The Last Revelation as an acne riddled teen.

EDIT: Keep on thinking of more...
    • For them who remember Xfire, I was one of the users who trolled the forums and the staff so hard (for their unprofessional-ism and other failures) that they actually closed the forums down.

My sins in no specific order..

    Never finished Mario.
Thought PaRappa the rapper was a pretty good game.
Think modern sports games are too complicated. (I blame it on the NFL GameDay series from 989. Madden had the controls down, then GameDay started shift type controls that double stacked options on the buttons. /emotional hijack)
Think Old Oregon Trail was revolutiojnary for RPG's

I think "Striker" on SNES is the best soccer game!

I finished Half Life 2, but never played the following episodes.

I traded in Portal 2 before I finished it.

I traded in Arkham Asylum after I finished it, and now regret trading it in.

When the disc drive in my launch PS2 turned bad, I bought a new one at Walmart, switched out the serial number stickers, then returned the old one. AND LEFT MY COPY OF TONY HAWK 3 IN THE FREAKING DISC DRIVE!! That's karma for you...

I never finished Silent Hill 2.

I have a weakness for dating sims and visual novels. (have close to 100 for various systems, but the majority are for my PS2)

I think Final Fantasy XI was the best MMO I've ever played.

I will blindly buy anything by Atlus or Hideo Kojima.

I think Grand Theft Auto is one of the dullest game franchises.

I've cosplayed as Princess Peach at a major comic convention.

I'm a collector's edition addict, I've gone so far as spending $250 on a copy of Black Rock Shooter for the PSP, just for the White Rock figma.

    • I watch every Starcraft match for MLG and other pro circuit events for 3 days straight none stop, tottaly involved. Thinking it's the greatest thing.
    • I accidentally view the Leauge of Legends stream and think to myself "what type of nerd would watch this geeky crap" then proceed to being 100% involved in watching SC2.

    Total double standard.

I spend €3-5k on games & hardware each year........

But try to balance my hobby excess by donating 10% of my salary to local charities each year....

    Just one each ;)
I circulated an image of a "Wii Dev Kit" (3 DVDs wrapped in glossy paper and Photoshop) connected to a display showing a faked dev interface. A few sites picked up on that. It wasn't the biggest one but the only I'll fess up to! There was another small one about Yoshis too but I can't remember it!
One of the Pokemon rumours started from a prediction I made about Black and White before they were announced. I spread rumours that it would take place in a far away location from the older games, it would be like a reboot and would have more new Pokemon additions than any other game. They were total guesses (maybe Sherlock style, heh) yet they turned out to be right! So I think my call sign might have some punch now, might start off some more ;).

There are more. It's easy to do, it's just believability+confidence!

    * Love Silent Hill so much I read, watch and play anything to do with the series.
    * I have 20 games sitting in my collection that I haven't completed and I don't think I want to.
    * Silent Hill can do no wrong in my eyes.

On Motor City Online, my friend and I would set up dummy accounts on eachothers server where we bought the heaviest cars with the heaviest parts.

We would organize races that seemed too good to be true (big cash bet, with pink slips for the cars, against a stupidly slow and heavy car and a medium kinda-fast car). At least two suckers would join the race every time.

We would be on the phone with eachother with the race started. The one driving the big and heavy car would pull a 180 and drive backwards on the track. We would coordinate it so the big heavy one rammed into the opponents and we would make sure to be on different sides of the road when passing eachother going in opposite directions.

Obviously the opponents had no chance, and the medium kinda-fast car would win everyones money and cars. Then he would gift back the big and heavy car to the dummy account, with enough money to make another race.

People were seriously pissed at us... :D

Had a good look but I can't find it. It was pretty poor, and didn't even look like a dev kit (which has a green front). Deliberately low res too ;)

    Other sins!
    • My friends and I play used to play a LOT of Left4Dead 1. To the point we used to speed run levels and exploits. If 1 of us would leave, God help the random person who would join!
    • My games have some very bizarre tags if you use the search engine on Steam. It's a bit of an easter egg.
    • I persuaded a friend not to sell his Xbox 360 games on eBay so I could buy them instead. 67 games for £50. I still feel bad about it.
    This is very cleansing.

Yes it's worth it. The story is decent and the town itself is fleshed out but the otherworld and monsters are kind of dull but you can look past that.

    I never played Half-life 1 (and never finished Half-life 2).

I'm not a fan of id's games (preferred Duke to Doom and UT to Quake III) though they make great game engines.

When playing local multiplayer on consoles I look at the players' screen sometimes.

I'm indifferent towards Nintendo. I recognize their place in the industry (and gaming history) but the DS lite I bought a few years back is the only Nintendo hardware I've ever owned.

As long as you don't get the PS3 version. I was really enjoying downpour until a game breaking bug kicked in and turned the whole game into a laggy broken mess that gave me a headache attempting to play :( Konami said they would release a patch to fix, and never did...... I couldn't play the game after because of it :(

----- if you can get it on 360 go for it....

It appears the game was patched in November.

Did this not fix these problems?

Nope...... Did not fix the corrupt files or lagging for me. Maybe if you started a game afresh with the patch it may improve, but for those with the problem it didn't do a thing for me anyway. I still have the game and its the same as ever whenever I try and load it.... :(:(:(

That's too bad, as my only current gen system is a PS3. I might still pick it up in the bargain bin at some point.
