Confirmation of June 9th 3G iPhone Launch?

Release Date?

I've been trying to keep as up to date on this subject as possible, but this time of the year has gotten very busy for me professionally and I'm sad to say I've fallen a bit behind with the rumors haha... I was wondering what is the common thought in the mac community on if the iphone 2 will be immediately available?
 
Everyone seems to be thinking June 9th.

But it is still just speculation and rumors.
 
you could have searched "release date" on here using the same time it took to write the new topic that covers the same topic again and again....

Most likely sometime later in June than the June 9 WWDC, which will probably bring an announcement (if not, a revolt). Someone made the point that it would be a little crazy to say "iPhones are on sale now!" while a bunch of your customers are at a conference like that. Apple likes to say "in two weeks" a lot, so I'm guessing mid-June.

I'm hoping the 2.0 firmware comes out that day. I could really use some non-Web apps to replace some things on here. I like tracking my gas mileage, but I hate having to log in and not being able to customize it more than this thing lets me do.

when it will be available is a different question... IMO i think it will be released in Sept-Nov

They will announce it and show it off june 9th, and then release it at the end of june with the 2.0 software update. I hope :)
 
Announcement June 9th - release the next day! God I hope so.. my head would explode if they made it any later. And with an exploded head I would have no use for an iPhone :(
 
Can you imagine everyones disappointment if it isn't announced June 9th?

Or if Ol' Steve announces a Nov. launch?

You could probably hear hearts BREAK from around the country!

And this place would be on fire!!!!!
