Confirmed: Best Buy WILL have White iPhone 4

Okay, a few points
1. I called it a thing-a-ma-bobber jokingly... I've used it before to check stock for customer many years before when i was an in store employee I actually install home theater equipment currently. Its an inventory management system that everyone has access to (Not only managers).
2. The details on employee sales seem to have loop holes such as if his wife is on his account and she makes the purchase it's not going to come back on him.
3. Who the hell really cares if you crazy guys believe us? lol it's only 2 days away that they'll be handing them out and then we can revisit this thread and say "oooohh those guys we're serious".
Meh, if that's true i would've done the same thing. Would you rather risk your job for your wife or for random people on the internet
Oh don't worry, there will still be plenty of people hoping for a black one, let alone a white one...lol
It is Best Buy's word against his. They have officially released a statement saying they will not have white iPhone 4's. He decides not to post a pic of said white iPhone and expects everyone to just be like "Oh, well, since Joe Blow claims to work at Best Buy and has white iPhones, they must." It doesn't make sense. Take a picture, not hard.
Right now it's your word against the BestBuy FAQ that was posted online.
As pointed out in the following link, any one of the "BestBuy Employees" in this thread could have "Jacob-BBY" check the inventory based on the store number. None of this is 100% for certain, but would be a good start towards proof. Nothing but attention grabbing at the moment. Some people here would legitimately like to know if they can grab a white phone on Thursday...

Call your best buy and ask. There's no reason why they would hide it, im sure they'll let you know.
If this is the case then why don't you check RSS and post it yourself? If you work there you obviously have access also...
No White Ones At My Best Buy
I was first in line and now have appointments at 8:30am on the 24th. I called back to inquire about the White ones and they assured me NO white ones came in.
My wife pre-ordered white but changed it so she would have a phone on the 24th.

How was I owned? I'm very open about my life as I have a very popular YouTube channel dedicated for reviews etc. The fact that more employees have come out to state the same thing shows its no BS. As well as the fact that I've sold iPhone cases to a couple members on here who know me pretty well. I do work 2 jobs at TSA and best buy. Check out my channel im sure after hearing what I have to say and being a very genuine person you would be more inclined to believe me. No need to fabricate such a lie with plenty of pol claiming the same thing. It's nothing new. All the little comments don't bug me, Putting a phone aside for my wife is nothing that would cost my job. I'm not stealing it nor leaking company information. Where as posting pics is easily tracable considering I use the same hadley for my YouTube channel,Twitter,etc.
This thread prompted me to take a trip down to my local Best Buy and here's what the guys down there confirmed:
When i went to talk to the guy, I could see a box of iPhones, each one in a little bit larger white cardboard box, and I knew they were iPhones because every question I asked about the phone, the rep kept looking at the box for reference.
I first asked about the number of iPhones they will have on the 24th (he was surprised I knew they got their phones today), and he said he couldn't tell me the number, but most likely they won't have enough for anything more than the preorders they got.
I then said "my friend preordered a white iPhone, and he wants to know if he should camp out at Apple, or are you guys going to fulfill the preorder come Thursday?"
This is what he said, while his eyes kept glancing over at the box of phones. "He's going to wait at Apple instead? Well, we didn't get any white"
I then asked, well will you fulfill the preorder when white comes in? And his response was, with a smirk, "Yea, we can fulfill it"
He said he didn't know when white would come in, but at least to his knowledge, he was sincere in telling me they had no white iPhones. They also said they will be calling everyone with a preorder tomorrow, to set up their appointments for Thursday. He also said my friend should hear from them tomorrow, as they will talk with whoever preordered white to tell them what they are going to do, so we may just have to wait one more day to know what is going on.
Take this information as what you want.
In my opinion, I really hope you are right and this guy is wrong, because I did not preorder specifically because I am waiting until I can hold a white and a black iPhone in my hand and compare the two in real life, and waiting until June 29th is a lot easier than waiting until "late summer."

sorry no burn to you, just saying that he sounds so techy saying all that, and discovering info. I'd say owned if it was to me, too.
ugh - all i want is apple to confirm at least apple stores will have the white - so i can camp out. I don't want to camp out for hours if they aren't getting them on launch day. Only reason I'm watching this thread is because if BB has them, then so does Apple. But all of BB's white iphones would be spoken for, so no one has a chance of getting them walking in.
The thousands of calls that Best Buy would get in the next few minutes. They have already received hundreds based on this thread without proof.
no one even know which best buy he works at. what are the odds that thousands of people would all of a sudden call the same store that he works at?
they wouldn't fire him, if anything they'd be getting more business
Don't go assuming that they will have it even though another did... Some best buys got 2-3 36gb's and some got 10-20.... just by fooling around on RSS i've only come across 3 stores with the whites in stock. But keep in mind i didn't check every district.
Oh and to Don Pianta Every single page on every single thing that Best Buy does has the Confidential-The material yada yada yada.... ending in you could be disciplined up to and including possible termination. They're usually fire happy about any little thing.
I'm not assuming, just hoping the white is out on launch day so that means they will receive more when they get more blacks as well, just relaying the info I have learned today, as the Best Buy guy had all the iPhones with him, he became a bit more knowledgable
For what it's worth....my best friend is a store manager at a large market BB. I called him today and asked him about the white one's and he started laughing hysterically. His store is also an Apple store and this was confirmed by the Apple reps laughter in the background when the question was relayed to him.
