Sorry if i posted this under the wrong section. i didnt quite know where to put it.

heres my situation. i have a western digital my book world edition 1 tb connected directly to my airport extreme in my dorm room. i also have a 2 tb my book studio for expanded storage connected to the world edition through USB. i made a mini wireless network that houses that hard drive, my airport express, and my apple tv.

my problem is that back to my mac wont work because of the schools firewall. how would i go about setting up a dns server to connect to the hard drive when i go home for weekends or if im over my friends room across campus to watch the movies that i store on it. i know about sites like dnydns and opendns but i dont know how to set it up. thanks!!
