...and I have this on my wall. Few people comment. (My photo.)

Confirmed.

The M4 Pro can only power 2x Dell U4025QW with 5K at 60Hz. The M4 Max can power 2x Dell U4025QW with 5K at 120Hz.

The image quality difference is substantial! I love this setup! 🙂

Very happy with my purchases. Now, the development fun can begin.
How do you like your U4025QW? Any issues?

Update: Anker T5 hub will power all my 40" at 120Hz, and the others at 60Hz (their top refresh, but they're mostly for static content).

Fun caveat about the T5 hub is that you cannot daisy chain USB all the way on down using the on-device USB ports. Another USB hub will only provide 3 additional USB addresses at that level, meaning your 8-port hub's first 3 ports will work, and the other 5 won't. (Even if powered.) HOWEVER: if you use a USB hub off of the thunderbolt downstream ports, everything is a-ok!

Both on 3200 x 1350, which is running at HiDPI. Works best for me.

Absolutely! Love it, especially the volume control that I use all the time.

Woah! :)
Try not to get issues with your neck.

Maybe he'd better off with 5 or 6 27" inch displays with very thin frames that he can pivot 90°?

Or just a 55 inch 4k TV in native resolution ....

What type of development do you do? I have a M3 Max and it’s a beast although seems to throttle on heavy codebases (tried compiling chromium on it and it was screaming).

Usually run it with a 49in ultrawide when at my desk. Been contemplating about a 5k2k but recently realized that my current monitor is more than enough

I develop Digital Workers and publish research on Agentic AI systems in enterprise settings.

The deciding factor for me was not so much the screen size, although I do like the widescreen. It was the refresh rate combined with the resolution. That eye comfort certification is well deserved. The only monitor where I do not get a headache after long concentrated sessions.

Does anyone here know? 2x Dell U4025QW 5K 120Hz Ultrawide paired with a MacBook Pro M4 Max (highest spec in terms of chip with 128GB memory).
Curious about your use for them. I found a single 34 inch UW to be too much head turning for me....how are two 40 inch monitors going to fit in your view?!

I work 80% on one screen, which is centre in front of me and typically showing half my IDE and half technical docs. The other screen is slightly angled to the right and has the app I am developing and cloud admin. I look at that 20% of the time. Perfect setup for me.
