We would love to connect our MacBook Pro's to Apple Mac M8536 Monitor

any idea what cables/ or hub we need to buy?

depends on which MBP you have. The Cinema Display only support ADC, so you need, at minimum, the difficult-to-find and sometimes very expensive ADC-DVI adapter. Then you need to adapt DVI to whatever your MBP supports. So HDMI - DVI for example, or USB-C to HDMI to DVI..
