You clearly missed the part where is was mentioned single core score for the sd410 is just under 500 and the single core score for the A9 is just under 2500. If you want to get into multi core scores then it's just under 1500(sd410) vs 4300(A9) between the two.

Not sure how you can claim the A9 is similar speed to a sd410.......
Yes I read it and I don't believe it. Because I have used both phones. Have you?

To be fair, there are also people who would look at an HD television set and say that their SD television looks just as good to them too.

I don't need to use both to know that the sd410 is slower than an A9. It's even slower than the 2013 A7. And slower single core than the A6 and barely faster than the A6 in multi core.

Geekbench scores for the chips:

sd410 - single core just under 500, multi core just under 1500
A6 - single core around 700, multi core around 1300
A7 - single core just over 1400, multi core around 2500
A8 - single core just over 1600, multi core around 2900
A9 - single core just under 2500, multi core just over 4300

So, no. It is not the same as an A9. Not even the same as an A8 or A7. And only roughly even with an A6 (getting beat by single core by 200 but beating multi core by 200)

For the price of an iPhone 6s+ you can buy 5 (count them 5) LG Stylos from MetroPCS. They have a larger screen, a processor that is just as fast, just as much memory, a 13 gig camera and most of the bells and whistles. And it is only $30 per month without a contract.

I don't doubt this device performs quite well for plenty of people. Ultimately people should look and make their own decisions whether a device meets their needs. But to say there is objectively no difference between this and a more expensive device is a little disingenuous.

Benchmarks AND reviews all confirm the phone has its limitations. It has a big display but a quite low pixel density, and colour reproduction isn't great. Might not be a big deal to you but it might be to some. Camera is 13 mp but that doesn't guarantee picture quality, and again reviewers suggest that's the case. And processor might be ok for average tasks, but games and more advanced features sound like they stutter.

Again, it might be totally not an issue for a lot of people, but it has to be weighed out to individual needs. It's not "just as good and way cheaper", it's "makes compromises, but you might not mind them"

Comparing any budget android phone to an iphone is not even fair. Budget phones especially those sold on prepaid carriers are the worst things on earth. The companies that make them forget them before they even release them. Many of these phones often do not get any updates from the moment they are released with often software already at least a year old.

Comparing the iPhone 6s to the Galaxy S6 or LG G4 is more of a fair comparison. If you want to save money on a phone to use on prepaid I would suggest this option if you need it from the carrier.

If you can wait buy one of these phones unlocked.

The list goes on. Those phones won't give you the bells and whistles of a flagship device but they are damn good devices for their price. I needed a phone immediately and went with the iphone 5s. I have to wait until august to unlock it and move to a better network.

I think even if the OP was interested, the point is moot, since MetroPCS is on the wrong side of the US/Canada border.

So Am a current Note 4 user, used the Note2 prior, and am considering a few phones when my contract is up. I haven't used an iPhone Since the 3gs, but have a few questions. Would probably be looking at the 6s plus or some variant of the 7

How much of a learning Curve am I in for?

Can I still use One Drive to back up my photos/videos automatically when connected to wifi?

I use an app to hide photo's on my phone, Can I do this with on iPhone? ( Gallery Lock Pro ) or something similar? The app itself is hidden as well.

Can use multiple email accounts on iPhone? Assuming this is yes, but just want confirmation.

To get the thread back on track, I think there will be a bit of a learning curve, but nothing too terrible - a lot has changed since the 3GS era, but if you can figure out where things like your settings are located or Notification Center, Control Center, and app switching, you'll probably be in pretty good shape. There is a lot in common with Android, as both OSes have been "borrowing" aspects, which has made both better in the long run.

One Drive will work and run in the background for you. Like others, I can't quite comment on the photos situation, but I suspect that's mostly doable. For multiple email accounts, you can add most providers to the built-in Mail app, or install a specific one (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) or use the Outlook app (which works with Microsoft accounts and other popular services). Personally, I use the Outlook app for my work email and the Mail one for everything else—really nice for some separation when I see a red unread badge next to the icon.
