Lots of judgement being passed around here! There's nothing wrong with caring about the image i project. Do you guys all wear disgusting clothes, never brush your hair, never take a shower? I didn't think so, you guys all care about what people think of you because thats human nature. So forgive me for being concerned that I might give the wrong impression with a rose gold phone that I've only seen girls and feminine men own.
Although you made it badly, I do agree with the point you are trying to make.
Most of us of course do care at least somewhat what other people think of us, although I would imagine it is not the only reason we take care of personal hygiene.
But as most of the people on this thread have pained to point out, on the list of things to worry about; whether my phone is a metallic gold or a metallic silver, is way down near the bottom.
If he is having so much worry about the color of his phone I would imagine his life would be far simpler and probably more enjoyable if he didn't sweat the smaller things. I am not quite sure what 'wrong impression' he could possibly give off with a gold phone..
Get what makes you happy. If you like the gold, get it.
I have a gold iPad and a pink iPhone. I like them both.
