It isn’t logical to use one random stranger’s personal preference as a reason not to try the iPhone 12 mini.
It is when you have many financial challenges. I'll get to an Apple store and look them all over at some point after Christmas, but I won't be ordering online and hoping for the best. I may still decide to get a mini, but for now... its on the back burner.

I went with the Mini about a week ago from an iPhone 7. First off, I hate a big phone for a lot of reasons, most of which everyone has already gone on about. As to satisfaction level - pretty happy with it. I don't do a lot of video, don't do FB, Twitter, or any other social media, so that doesn't affect my battery life. I find that the Mini 12 will go from 6 AM to 9 PM and still have 35 to 40% battery life for me. This is after using the phone, email, Flip Board (many times during the day), and quite a bit of internet web page usage. For me, the phone is perfect. For a real heavy user, gamer, or someone constantly on social media - they will have to probably recharge the phone at least once, during the day.
