I would love to live in one of those houses right there next to it

Got $2 million for a 1000 sq ft bungalo? It's yours.

"Already priced in" as they say. I used to live in a townhouse 2 blocks further north (down in the picture). Moved out in 2012. Prior rent $2100, new rent $2700.
Rents on the apartments on pruneridge :

House prices in that area are kissing $1million.

Tagline for the site: LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE

ummmm, right. When you're paying $2.5 to $4k for condo/townhome rental, its hard to LOVE. Seriously, if you don't make bank, the Bay Area's housing costs are crippling. Unless you want to live in a dump 'down by the river' i.e. cars on lawns

They are "the perimeter walls that will house the foundation." Are you saying that isn't totally clear?

Yeah... I know what a foundation is :)

But there will be 2 floors of parking decks under the 4 floor of offices.

I'm guessing the giant trenches they dug will be those underground parking decks? That's what I was unsure of.

Sorry... I'm not a site engineer :D

Are those walls gonna be the walls in the underground parking garage?

I'm just trying to get an idea about what we are seeing in that picture.

Go to the Cupertino City Council's website to find comprehensive plans in PDF format of the whole project. Those are the walls of the two-level underground parking garage.

Not to worry, I was being facetious. MR's description is nonsensical.

they should build a big stature of Steve Jobs right in the middle of the whole thing. Dictator style. I think that would be more than appropriate.

Macrumors, how about an update on the new house Steve was building? What ever happened to it?

...They finished the yacht, where is it now?

How is traffic going to be any different from when it was an HP parking lot?

Also keep in mind that Apple employs a large fleet of buses and shuttles which lowers the use of individual cars.

You both are wrong. It will be manned by Oompa Loompas. They never leave, so no commuter traffic.
