Consumer Reports: iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Not as Bendable as Believed

Please do not insult my intelligence. I know you quite well about what you think (and write) about iGadgets. I don't care, but please don't try to pretend you are neutral about that.

Yeah I'm sorry, other people maybe but you, no. You're often here going "bahahahahahahahaha" whenever apple does anything, so let's not pretend. That's dumb.

Would you two like me to post pictures of my Apple products with my username written on a piece of paper on them? Maybe you'll stop accusing me and others who criticise Apple as being paid by Samsung or Apple haters that are only here because we want Apple to fail, or that I do not and have not ever owned an Apple product because how can I do that and criticise Apple?

Would that be good for you if I did that? Or would you claim I falsified the photos?

Your post history is all the proof i need. Don't need pics, but thanks.

You obviously didn't check ALL my post history then mate. Plus you know if I did that your 'opinions' of people in here would be proved as wrong.

I've been here since March (relatively new) and I recognized your username as the one who's always going bahahahahahah. Obviously, your posts making fun of apple outweigh the other few ones you have.

You're not the only one though of course, there are plenty who do the same thing. No biggie just my observation.

Did you prove him wrong somehow? No?

Yes. He said he had a bent phone. He couldn't show a picture of a bent phone.
So he said he had ANOTHER bent phone and he'd show us a picture of it on Monday. Which was two days ago.

He said he had no camera, but forgot he told us his wife had one.
He said his wife was at work (on saturday) until Monday.
Then he started posting pictures (without a wife or camera).

One picture was of an unbent iPhone.
The other picture was of iPhone BOXES.

When someone makes a claim ("2 out of 3 of my iPhones are bent") and fails, repeatedly, to substantiate it with even a tiny bit of evidence, but instead makes promise after promise to prove it and never does, yeah, I think I proved him a liar. That's about all I can do on the internet unless I show up at his house.

You may think you proved him a liar, but you couldn't be anymore further from the truth. And the person you are talking about, did in fact post a pic, with a ruler showing the corner bent, and low and behold, you and others called him a liar.

Even HE admitted the picture he posted didn't show anything, which is why he promised us a REAL picture on Monday.

Do you dispute that:

1) he lied about not having a camera, and when it was pointed out to him he concocted the wife working until monday story?
2) he suddenly found a camera despite his wife being at work until monday?
3) he promised photographs on monday and never showed any?

The fact that someone who first posted two days after this other guy disappeared suggests you and him are in cahoots. Yes?

In cahoots with him? Wrong....

I just gave a detailed explanation of the proof. You have refuted none of it.

If you'd like to explain the discrepancies in jdookie's story, or explain why I am misinterpreting them, fine, but you aren't doing the Apple-hating crowd any favors by not addressing the evidence I've repeatedly laid out. In any court of law, conflicting statements are evidence of LYING. First he said A, but when it was pointed out that A can't be true he changed his story to B. That's how you prove a lie. I gave numerous examples.

The picture with with ruler had an obvious bend...

Again, your proof, means nothing... you are speculating. Nothing more.

Might be wrong but I’m not sure you proved him a liar. Him not proving he’s telling the truth isn’t the same. It may cast doubt on his story granted but it doesn’t prove anything.
This sounds like the weapons of mass destruction thing.
Bear in mind that 'evidence of lying', still doesn’t reveal the truth or give you carte blanche to manufacture it.

As for the bend, anyone can look at it and draw their own conclusions, so no point in arguing with you on that.

As for the rest, it's not speculation. It's evidence. It's his own statements, which conflicted with earlier statements. Do you dispute he said those things? Didn't think so.

And it's his own promises, broken. Do you dispute he promised to show us the "real" bent phone 2 days ago? No? Didn't think so.

I don't know the truth. Maybe he has one bent phone. Maybe zero. Maybe he's a paid shill. No idea, you're right. But I *do* know he's a liar, which is all I said. And, again, using the court of law example, if self-conflicting statements are good enough to put someone in prison, they are good enough to convince me he's lying.

In court you can prove someone is a liar by introducing the fact that he lied about X, and then from that you are allowed to infer he is also lying about Y. In this case I believe he is proved to be lying about everything he said, but even if you accept he only lied about some of the things I listed, that still shows his character as a liar, and the same conclusion holds.

That’s absolutely right. What it means though is that your conclusion in this particular case should be;
"I’m not sure how it happened”, as there is not enough evidence to prove how/if it did.

You know what’s odd about that is one of the first things that people tell you about Apple devices is how they last longer than the competition.
In reality :
They are just as, and often more fragile than the others.
Apple build in the obsolescence in the software.

As for what you consider to be premium shoes you didn’t tell us what they were so I can’t comment.

Where to and where from please?
Now let’s just start with what you posted in the section you labelled FACTS, (which really means your version of them):
-iPhone 6 and 6+ have been awarded best in class and least likely to break phones by independent agencies. FACT!!!

Consumer Reports, (I hope this fits the description, "independent agency"), found the iPhone 6 to be one of the weakest of the phones tested recently. You have equated this with ……….least likely to break.
Just to cover the other ridiculous angles you’re about to come with.
If this phone bends and it isn’t supposed to it’s damaged. You may not notice it at first but it is. You may say Oh, but I bent it back and it’s fine. Great it’s straight now but you’ve bent it and stressed it twice. Even worse.
You have a broken phone that while it will still make calls and browse the interweb and you’ve masked/ignored the damage.

You also said, “Best in class, thinnest, lighthes true 64 bit processor and os .. Leaps and bounds ahead of competition.”. Really?

I say again, virtually everything between the first and last word you posted is drivel.
You totally distorted Consumer Report conclusions about the test
Now I'm really wondering if you have your personal agenda....
Never seen a test so misinterpreted...

Wot? You are joking right? CR were vilified during antenna gate. Now they are praised and you know it.
Lewis Hamilton couldn’t do a doughnut in an F1 car quicker than you did that turnaround.

Except there wasn't any "antenna gate" since millions, and I mean millions, of iPhone 4 are still working flawlessly TODAY....
The whole "antenna gate" was a factual digression about an issue affecting a few people.

But CR reports weren't biased, even then.
Btw that has nothing to do with this bend test, conducted under controlled situation in a lab.

dude, are you in america? if so, the girls here aren't phased by click,click/guns a blaze.. try this instead:
