Consumer Reports Ranks iPhone X Below iPhone 8 Because of Durability and Battery Life

But I don't think that's really the point of my Post or you simply misconstrued it, because the reality is, these tests may not be indicative of what somebody else might experience. These are controlled test(s) versus real world tests. Big difference.
Sure I can see your point. But you can’t deny the iPhone X is the most fragile iPhone since the 4. Most drop tests I’ve seen have posted similar results of catastrophic damage.

That's likely True about the fragility of the iPhone X, especially given it's current design.

iPhone X durability is not subjective. It is widely known that the phone is not durable when it comes to drops. It’s a pretty solid concensus among lots of people who have tested it. Nobody is saying it just to disparage the X. Yes there will be instances it doesn’t break but overall it rates worse than phones of the past.

Larger screen, heavier for size, same glass they’ve been using. Makes sense

You gotta make sacrifices somewhere and i'm kinda surprised Apple did that in the battery, not the camera. This comes from its all abut battery.. so any knock against battery life, i take that as bad but perhaps Apple's also realizing what is more important to people.

I'm sure there's something software-related going on with battery usage. My X used to have fairly averagely bad battery life, getting very low by the time I was off to bed (after say 17-18 hours use). But more recently it's been ridiculously good unless I'm doing a lot of video. The other day I went to bed and had 70% charge remaining.

The main culprit for me now is Sonos, which is now taking up the majority of my battery usage even if I use it only two or three times a day. And even though the app is eating up all this background battery time, it always needs to re-connect to the system when I go to use it (and often claims that it's failed before it manages it). Something in a recent update has broken it, but if that were to be fixed I would get another big chunk of battery life back.

how do you manage to get 17~18 hours of usage on the X? my highest usage is around 13Hrs

how about ecosystem, features, how can a Samsung beat iPhone X? About every iPhoneX review is superlative

because in many countries it is illegal
I understand. But why it’s so easy on android? And there are even apps sold in the AppStore recording calls. So if apple allows apps for recording, why don’t they include us such a option. They could even make a short message before you start recording, telling the other one on the line the call is now recorded. I love this future on my Galaxy.
